What is the best server?

There is no single best server

We recommend picking a server that is far away from you, and currently at night/early morning (off-peak time).

We also recommend switching servers every 5-6 games for the best experience.

FAQ - Most Common Issues

Question 1: My console shows a message like this:

If you encounter this issue when setting the DNS IP address, it means your console is being denied access to our service. This typically happens because you either haven't selected a destination on the website or you selected one from a device that is not on the same network as your console.

When you choose a destination, it authorizes the current public IP address to use our DNS service. If your console uses a different public IP, you will experience this error.

We strongly recommend using a PC to select a destination. On some smartphones, the browser may hide your public IP address. If this happens, please refer to instructions on how to disable this feature. See this link and this link.

Also, if you are on PS5, check the external IP of your PS5 through the in-game network info section. It should be the same as the one displayed on our VPN setup website "Currently effective on **.**.**.**".

Question 2: I cannot disable IPv6 on my router

This should still work. Follow all instructions and check the in-game network settings on PS5. The location should still change, and use the CheckDNS website on Xbox with the Edge browser. It should be green. If it's not, reach our support for a manual verification.

Question 3: I changed my location but I'm still playing with local players

Our service points you to specific matchmaking servers in a different country only while matchmaking is going on.

As part of its algorithm, the SBMM appears to use the country and time of day as factors to determine the difficulty of the lobby it places you in (that's why we say to always pick a country that's currently at night!).

As a result, you aren't playing in another location. You're playing in the same location, but you're just being made to look as though you're from another country during matchmaking to confuse the SBMM into placing you into easier lobbies. That's how we keep our lobbies low ping and sweat-free.
